Peppermint Oat Slice

Equipment needed

Glass bowl or large Jug
Mini loaf mould
Spoon
Microwave
White Spirits in spritzer bottle

Ingredients

M&P soap Base
Fragrance oil
Oats

Method

Cut the required amount of soap base and chop into small pieces. Place in a microwavable bowl or jug. Put into the microwave and melt in short blasts so not to over heat. While the soap is melting place oats into the mould.

Once the soap is melted add in the fragrance and stir well, now pour into mould. If there are any bubbles on the top of the soap after pouring , use the spirit spritzer to spray them away.
Leave soap to cool and set.

Once it starts to harden you can place it in the fridge for 5-10 minutes for a quicker setting time. This also helps the soap to release from the mould easier. De mould and leave for a further 5 - 10 minutes before wrapping.
